How to keep your organisation website up to date
A simple weekly routine so the information visitors see is always right.
Give one person the job, and a backup
Websites go stale when nobody owns them. Name one person to check the site and one deputy for when they are away.
A ten minute weekly check
Look at the events page, the contact details and the opening times. Remove anything that has passed and add what is coming in the next two weeks.
Check after every change of committee
New people, new phone numbers and new email addresses are the most common reasons a website quietly becomes wrong. Update contact details the same week.
